Project:

  • Extensive double storey extension and space planning on all floors within a restricted area.

  • Update external aesthetics.

Description:

Originally, this property was a modest, narrow cottage with a disjointed layout—one half of a larger building that was partially demolished during the construction of a nearby highway. The home required extensive extension work, thoughtful space planning, and a full aesthetic transformation to meet the needs of modern family living, while still retaining a touch of traditional charm.

Located within the Metropolitan Greenbelt, this project came with tough restrictions regarding how much we could extend under Wealden Council. We are however proud to say we successfully obtained planning permission first time to double the property's footprint, resulting in a beautifully family home, inside and out.

Testimonial:

“We are hugely grateful to KM Creations for their hard work in obtaining us planning permission for a large and very ambitious extension.  Having already wasted time and money with other architects, Kirsty was a breath of fresh air and restored our faith that there are architects out there willing to help you get the house of your dreams.  Kirsty has been particularly good at understanding our requirements and very patient in listening to our evolving ideas, whilst contributing greatly with the benefit of her own expertise and experience.  Professional and practical, whilst being friendly and approachable, she has been a real joy to work with.  We would not hesitate to recommend the service provided by KM Creations to others.”
