About Km Creations Architectural Services

I have always had a love for architecture and formally embarked on a career in the industry by studying a BA (Hons) degree in Interior Architecture and Design. The course covered a broad range of topics from landscape and design, psychology and physiological drivers of human behaviour through to sustainability and the principles of construction and safety, facilities and planning, management principles and techniques and business management principles. The course was intense but incredibly enjoyable and provided me with solid and comprehensive grounding from which I could focus on my chosen passions.

During my degree programme I undertook a year placement for both Bevis Seifert Interior Design and John Seifert Architects in London. Following which I embarked on my final year at Bournemouth University and graduated in 2004.

After graduating I decided to take a year out and travel the world to see amazing places and meet weird and wonderful people along the way! It was all very inspiring and great fun!

Once back to reality, I accepted a job offer from PTAL Architects as an Architectural Assistant. The company was expanding and in addition to my architectural roles I supported the firm in opening a new office in London’s Mayfair, where I learnt numerous other commercial skills through my involvement in marketing, tendering, budgeting and office management; qualities I was unaware at the time would help me so much a few years down the line.

I quickly realised that my passion for design stemmed from working with people on a one to one basis, getting to know the individual and designing for them personally, whilst being in control of the creative and commercial process from tender to completion. I therefore started Km Creations in 2009 and have never looked back, I love my job and I have fantastic clients.
